Official drug, device, and pharmacy sources

FDA notices and labels are central research sources, but a report, recall, or safety communication does not prove individual causation. Save dated copies because labels and regulatory information can change.

Links go to the issuing agency, legislature, court material, or public medical source whenever one is available. Each page still explains what the source can and cannot establish in an individual claim.

How sources are selected

We prefer statutes, regulations, issuing agencies, court material, and federal medical or safety sources. A commercial source is used only when it is the primary source for its own policy or product and is labeled accordingly.

Sources support factual background. They do not substitute for jurisdictional research, expert analysis, medical diagnosis, or review of the complete record. Broken links and materially changed guidance are corrected during page review.
